Is there nothing the (il)liberal left think another law can’t fix?

I’ve just posted a piece on Total Politics calling for the Lib Dems to stand against any state regulation of the press in response to Leveson tomorrow.

You can imagine how well that has gone down with some sections of the  party.

As I lay out, it rather misses the point that we have laws that govern the behaviour of the media, which need properly enforcing.

Always seeing the state as the answer is a very dangerous habit for liberals to get into.
