The Lib Dem Leader is preparing for his first weekly phone in show on LBC – 0845 60 60 973.
Interesting, some media now grumbling about how comfortable Nick Clegg has found this, and how reasonable the calls are!
@anntreneman Presume judicious choice of callers was part of negotiation with Lib Dems.

Oh Lord,Clegg getting into detail on Europe…
Student politician reads question out, she sounds very proud of herself. Clegg dismantles her saying that pupil premium and pre-school care is hardly tokenistic.
For normal people/non-LD members who don’t get why Clegg sounded rather resigned when someone started reading the back of his membership card, he gets that question almost every conference Q+A.
Predictable ex-councillor call. Says he has ripped up his membership card, yet still remembers the preamble to the Lib Dem constitution verbatim…
Nick Clegg on child benefit ‘cliff edge’: “It only affects about 15% of families. It is a really, really difficult decision.” #CallClegg

The first question from a member of the public is about Child Benefit. Fairly standard answer from Clegg discussing the issue of cliff age, and that it effects the top 15%.
