Labour’s candidate in Eastleigh endorsed voting Lib Dem in a Con/Lib marginals…like the seat he is fighting.

Labour’s Candidate in Eastleigh, the satirist and author John O’Farrell once recommended voting Liberal Democrat to stop Conservatives being elected. According to Rowena Mason in the Telegraph:

[O'Farrell] would need to steal votes off the Liberal Democrats to have any chance of winning. However, it has emerged that he once advised his own brother to vote Liberal Democrat in Richmond to keep out the Tories in 1997. He related the political anecdote in his book about being a Labour supporter, Things Can Only Get Better.
